Bridgeton Trail

Bridgeton Trail Meeting - Discuss Revised Trail Designs

Wednesday, April 18th

7:00 pm

Columbia High School Gymnasium

716 NE Marine Drive

In February, community members gathered to review concepts for the Bridgeton segment of the Marine Drive Trail and share their vision for developing it as a neighborhood promenade. Everyone agreed that the design of this segment should reflect the character of the Bridgeton neighborhood - friendly, eclectic, and altogether unique.

Since then, the project's landscape architect consultant, Bo Nevue of Nevue Ngan, has examined the trail in more depth and toured the area with neighborhood representatives. At this meeting, Bo will share his images of the neighborhood and describe how he has attempted to capture its spirit in the trail design. We will also talk about options to reduce bike/pedestrian conflicts.

Join us on the 18th to finalize the concept and pave the way for the future Bridgeton Trail.

Spring has sprung!

Methinks winter is behind us - but I am saying that while knocking on wood and crossing my fingers and toes : - )

At the last general neighborhood meeting, we formed a recycle committee which the 4 of us decided was better called a recycle party...because parties are more fun than "meetings."

We hope to have some info on neighborhood recycle parties to pass out at the Spring clean up on April 21.

If you want to join the recycle party - let us know...you can fill out the form to your left
