Yesterday there was a fish - identified as a steel head trout lying near the bank - looking pretty ill.
The fishermen in the area told us it was spawned out and the spots were decaying flesh - but that if it swam out to the ocean it would perk back up [my word - not theirs]
But when it finally started moving - it was swimming toward Idaho : - 0
Hopefully it got out into the main channel and got a current ride to the Pacific...
